You will learn to screen nonprofits that benefit your loved ones and cherished causes. This course is part of the Legacy by Design Program.

1. Set the Foundation: Dive into the essence of the course, acquainting yourself with the format and resources that will guide your journey of financial generosity. Initiate the process of creating your unique blueprint for impactful financial generosity.
2. Lead with Your Heart: Explore the emotional roots of generosity and understand its life-driven underpinnings. Learn how your unique experiences and financial situation can shape meaningful and heartfelt financial contributions.
3. Design with Your Head: Uncover financial generosity's rational, practical, and pragmatic aspects, emphasizing the importance of a team effort. Pencil in your personal, family, and outreach goals and sketch an outline for financial generosity.

6. Financial Tools II: Capture the essence of nine additional advanced financial tools, including split-beneficiary funding. Unleash your creativity to explore the financial giving tools that may apply to your personal, family, and financial situation.
7. Mix & Match Strategies: Draft a harmonious blend of personal and familial aspirations to sculpt a purposeful, tailored giving strategy based on your personal, family, and financial considerations. Convert your benevolent intentions into tangible actions through deliberate and potent strategies for family and charity. Lay the groundwork for a balanced financial generosity blueprint primed for professional insight and guidance.
8. Relate to Nonprofits: Understand the perspective and role of nonprofits as beneficiaries of your generosity. Learn fundraising approaches and solicitations for your funding. (8-15 Learners)
Community Learning Groups
Peer learners, united by a common life transition, learn and support each other through shared experiences, empathetic engagement, and collective problem-solving. Community groups include veterans, young adults, recovering singles, and other common interest groups.
Lesson Exercises
Every course lesson includes a learning activity tailored to spark questions, foster reflection, and stimulate personal growth.
Success Coaches
Each cohort (group) of 8-15 learners is guided by an experienced, highly qualified Success Coach who serves as a mentor and resource. The Success Coach meets virtually with the group multiple times to enhance learning, guide learners, and answer learner questions.
Veterans Transition Empowerment Program (V-TEP)
The V-TEP program of two bundled courses empowers veterans to chart their own unique path as they transition to civilian life. Join a supportive cohort led by an experienced coach, where veterans learn, share, and navigate the road to successful transition.
