What is the Pivot to Purpose Learning Series  ?
The Pivot to Purpose Learning Series ℠ includes four courses that help adults navigate life transitions with renewed purpose using a proven five-step roadmap. The series combines online instruction, personal coaching, practical tools, group learning, lesson exercises, and additional resources to empower individuals in mastering transitions, understanding themselves deeply, nurturing relationships, and aligning with their passions, strengths, and what brings them joy and meaning.
Who is the learning series designed for?  
The series is crafted for adults of any age facing pivotal changes or at a life crossroads, including military veterans transitioning to civilian life, individuals undergoing relationship transitions (such as divorce or widowhood), young adults, retirees, career changers, and anyone aspiring to build a meaningful, significant life of impact.
How does the inquiry-based, transformative learning model benefit students?
This model encourages active engagement and deep reflection, facilitating a personal transformation that goes beyond traditional, academic learning, by prompting students to question, explore, and apply new concepts to their own lives.nurturing the mindset, honing and expanding skills, and equipping learners with the soft and life skills  and tools needed to succeed in the real-world.
What role does the personal lesson exercise play in each course? 
There is a personal lesson exercise in each course lesson, engaging learners to connect their transition circumstances with the content. It encourages self-exploration, journaling, and applying learned principles to personal, family, and financial situations.
How do the five core beliefs of the academy shape the learning experience? 
The beliefs focus on the uniqueness and potential of each individual, the innate aspiration to give, positive reciprocity, purpose in life, and choices at life's crossroads. They are integrated into the courses, shaping content and learning experiences.
What makes Aspire to Give® Academy's learning series different from other personal development programs?  
The series combines four pillars of learning with an inquiry-based, transformative approach, embedding the Academy's philosophy. It uses multimedia cohort learning, personalized coaching, and lesson exercises to foster self-leadership, personal growth, and purposeful living.
Can I take any course without opting for the entire series?
Absolutely! Pivot Points (#1) , Compose a Legacy of Love (#3), and Financial Generosity (#4) can be taken individually. Since Pivot Points (#1) is a foundational course, it must be completed before enrolling in Pathway to Purpose (#2).
What is the Academy's instructional approach?  
Each course in the series blends multimedia online instruction, cohort learning, coaching, introspective exercises,  practical tools, and additional resources. The approach integrates  leading-edge and inquiry-based instructional design model for a comprehensive personal learning experience.
What is the time commitment required for each course? 
Each course is designed to facilitate gradual yet profound learning, with ten lessons per course and a total invested time estimated to be about 20 hours per course. The online program is structured to be flexible and self-pacing, with drip-fed lessons and virtual coaching over a period of about 6 weeks. This allows the learner to engage in a manner that fits their lifestyle and blends self-paced and cohort (group) learning with the support of a Success Coach.
What does course #1: "Pivot Points: Mastering Life's Transitions" cover?  
This course helps navigate life changes with a focus on eliciting enhanced self-awareness and understanding of one's life journey, the vital importance of loved ones, friends, and advisors, and the introduction of the transition roadmap for personal, meaningful success.
What is unique about course #2: "Pathway to Purpose: Stories & Questions for Clarity"? 
After promoting self-awareness with storytelling and questions, learners develop communication, interpersonal, and emotional skills, along with goal-setting, decision-making, and seven critical thinking tools for navigating life's transitions. Pathway to Purpose empowers self-awareness, teaching learners how to think and handle life's challenges and changes effectively.
What does course #3: “Compose a Legacy of Love" include? 
It guides those at the sunset of their lives in crafting and organizing their personal affairs to compose a testament of love and legacy through the sharing of values, beliefs, and life lessons. This culminates in love letters and an organizational workbook for loved ones.
Can you clarify course #4: "The Art & Science of Financial Generosity"?  
This course explores personal financial generosity, family engagement, and dynamics. It teaches the role, a basic understanding, and the application of over a dozen financial giving tools and strategies to tailor financial generosity to loved ones and cherished causes.
How does the learning process work in these courses?   
The learning series is designed as an inquiry-based and transformative learning 4C instructional model, blending online multimedia instruction, tailored coaching, cohort learning, student introspection, and lesson practical exercises.
What role do the lesson exercises play in these courses?  
The lesson exercise is a key learning tool tailored to individual circumstances, serving as a guide through each course, engaging you with tailored questions  for each lesson that provoke thoughtful inquiry and introspective learning. Practical tools offered throughout the series further empower you to apply learned concepts to real-life scenarios, fostering tangible change, and engaging students with questions relevant to their personal, family, and financial situations.
Can I take any course independently?
Course 1 foundational and required for Course 2, but Courses 3 and 4 can be taken independently, or as a bundled package.
Do you offer certificate programs? 
Yes, there will be three certificate programs:
  1. Pivot to Purpose Transition Program: This certificate program bundles courses 1 and 2 for specific demographic cohorts (groups of 8-15). This bundle is best for military veterans in transition, young adults, restless spirits, and those recovering from a lost relationship such as divorce or death.
  2. Legacy by Design Program: This certificate program bundles courses 3 and 4 and is most appropriate for aspiring retirees, legacy composers, and those wealthy spirits that aspire to make a difference or give back.
  3. Complete Pivot to Purpose Program: This certificate program bundles all four courses of the learning to assure a complete and comprehensive learning experience for adults of any age. 
Is there a specific certificate program for military veterans?   
Absolutely! The Veterans Transition Empowerment Program (V-TEP),  will be a certificate program that combines courses 1 and 2 with success coaching, peer learning, personal lesson exercises, and the support and extra resourcing needs of military veterans in transition.
Are there plans for developing additional certificate programs for different demographic groups?  
Of course! Besides the Veteran’s Program, we expect to introduce a specific program for young adults (ages 8-28) due to the high need for sound decision-making.  Other programs for other demographic categories will be developed depending on demand.
